EG is a new community of purpose-led entrepreneurs, bringing purpose to the heart of the conversation amongst start-ups.
At its core, EG is encouraging the community to donate a percentage of their start-up’s exit proceeds to charity, embedding a mission-based ethos within their business as they grow. This is a long-term campaign to change the way we think about philanthropy.
The entrepreneur can donate a percentage of their choosing and no proceeds are donated until the company has a liquidity event – so only when they’re ready to reap the rewards of their hard work.
Whether they’re a baker or a techie, a start-up or a family business, members will have access to networking opportunities with a community of like-minded purpose-led entrepreneurs, as well as exciting events led by experts and entrepreneurs, showing just how you can start or grow a business with purpose. It’s a community they can be proud of.
Maurice Ostro OBE will be leading a group of like-minded philanthropists and successful entrepreneurs, as well as charitable and enterprising partners, in launching the community.
