We are looking for three Business Operations Interns to join the founding team over the next three months and play a vital role in growing the business. The role is highly fluid, as you join the founding team prior to launch, with responsibilities to split across the following disciplines:
Business Development: developing and building out our commercial proposition to both sellers and real estate agents
Customer Experience: developing our customer proposition and owning the customer experience, from customer service to the sales funnel
Operational Execution: playing a lead role in the operational execution of the businesses, from corporate development (presentations, finances, legals) to our city-by-city rollout activation strategy to highly challenging operational tasks such as overseeing the management of our cutting 24/7 virtual “call center”
This is a role with great responsibility and is likely to become a full time role after three months, depending on performance.
Minimum of 2:1 degree
Some professional experience, having worked in one or more of the following disciplines: professional services, management consulting, ecommerce, startup, business development. Marketplace experience is desired but not essential
Basic proficiency in Powerpoint and basic Excel skills
Demonstrated understanding and experience of the real estate sector
Belief in the power of technology-driven businesses
Strong problem-solving ability with a bias for action and “can-do” attitude
Passion for working in a start-up and willingness to go the extra mile. Startups are challenging, hardworking and unstructured environments – they are not for everyone!
Excellent communication and written skills
Ability to multi task, prioritise and manage time effectively
KPI-driven with the ability to glean insight from large amounts of data
Entrepreneurial spirit and a willingness to go the extra mile when needed
